This is a process and the process must be completed in order to be done right. I am also a humanist, so a person who is passionate about love, but also tough love. This is not a time to sugar coat issues and in particular issues pertaining to trauma and the work of anti-racism.
Ultimately we must deal with the different ranges of humanity, predominantly focusing on intersectional identities and how trauma affects different parts of these identities.
Marginalized people and people who represent positions of power and allowance must come together in order to bridge gaps and allow for some type of reconciliation to occur.
